Class names change and what it means

I’m redefining what I offer in class and wanted to make it simpler to understand what class options there are. I’ve also taken away the name Pilates as I include a lot of functional movement and evidence based work that goes beyond the traditional Pilates exercises.

Postnatal Pilates is now Early Postnatal Level 1

Suitable from 6 weeks with a vaginal birth or 12 with a caesarean.

Core and pelvic floor healing

Postural exercises to keep us functional

Evidence-based approaches to improving diastasis recti

As you’d imagine, this is the class to start with after giving birth.

Women’s Pilates is now Postnatal Level 2

A class to move on to from the first or to join no earlier than 3 months after giving birth.

Loading the core for progressive challenge

Phase 2 of diastasis recti training

Prepare to return to running and high impact exercise

As always, you can book individual classes as Pay as You Go but I will be running these as progressive half term courses. So be prepared for them to become increasingly challenging as the term goes on.
